Too many bunnies looking for homes

We have said it a million times before. There are too many animals and not enough homes! Rescues are over flowing with unwanted and abandoned animals and here are the latest arrivals at Freshfields Animal Rescue. They may be adorable, but they are also incredibly lucky to have found space in a good rescue. Most animal rescues in Merseyside have now stopped taking in rabbits which in turn means more will be dumped and left to die, left neglected in a hutch with no quality of life and forgotten about or taken to a vets to be put to sleep when they are no longer wanted. These beautiful bunnies are safe, well and looking for good, loving new homes. Contact Freshfields Animal Rescue on 0151 931 1604 if you are interested in them.

We cannot stress it enough NEUTER your pets! Rabbits can breed from 4 months old and are quite often wrongly sexed by pet shops and breeders. Don’t buy from pet shops, who are profiting from churning out litter after litter whilst rescues are picking up the pieces. If you can offer a home to bunnies or any other animal RESCUE and NEUTER!

Be part of the solution not part of the problem. Thank you :)
